Alongside the installation, Architecture as Measure is presented through a website component, the online publication of the pavilion for the Pavilion of Turkey at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition, la Biennale di Venezia titled How Will We Live Together? Bringing together research and writing by the curatorial team with commissioned contributions—including essays and conversations—the website became the project’s first public expression.
Released during COVID-19 Pandemic, the website the online publication was not merely the only accessible platform, but preceded the physical installation, shifting the conventional hierarchy of the two mediums in the context of a biennale. The publication is organized through four formats (essays, conversations, paperwork, and episodes) that structure the pace and length of the contributions, supported by an extensive index that both visually and organizationally lays out the disparate themes in connection. Each contribution is also made available as a downloadable PDF that can be printed.
